This introductory course is designed for project managers with experience in traditional structured (or waterfall) methodologies transitioning to include Agile practices. The course provides a comprehensive overview of the Disciplined Agile (DA) framework, emphasizing its adaptability and context-sensitive application.
Students will learn how DA empowers organizations to select their Way of Working (WOW) and apply the best approach based on their specific context. Additionally, the course introduces the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in Disciplined Agile Delivery, offering innovative tools to enhance decision-making and project outcomes.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Transition from waterfall to agile project management using the Disciplined Agile
framework. - Understand and apply the principles of DA in selecting an appropriate Way of
Working (WOW). - Utilize the DA toolkit to enhance team and enterprise effectiveness.
- Integrate Generative AI tools into Disciplined Agile practices to improve project
outcomes. - Recognize ethical considerations and best practices for using GAI in project
management.
